RN JOB DESCRIPTIONS

POSITION TITLE: Registered Nurses (RN)

DEPARTMENT: Home Care

REPORTS TO: Governing Body, On-Site Manager/Administrator/Home provider, and Director

OVERVIEW:

Oversee the operation of home care services. The services are geared to the goal of maximum quality of life for each client.

Duties & Responsibilities & Acknowledgements
RN's responsible for supervising any services provided for medically frail clients and defining those types of clients appropriately.
To annually assess the performance of the supervisees and staff, by direct observation or demonstration of the tasks they are assigned to perform.
To agree to supervise in a manner that is consistent with PHCP/DCH regulations, and the Policies set forth by GOD'S LOVE HOME CARE LLC.
Requires and documents that the supervisor participates in the development and review of each client's service plan.

Requires that for PCA services, the supervisor performs supervisory home visits to each client's residence at least every 92 days, and at least on some occasions when the aide is present and performing services.
Requires that for companion and sitter services, the supervisor performs
supervisory home visits to each client's residence at least every 122 days, and at least on some occasions when the employee is present and performing services.

Qualifications
Licensed by the State of Georgia; Basic first aid and CPR.
Completion of appropriate training for supervisors for each specific type of service and service plan development.
Satisfactory criminal background check.
At least 2 years of private home care or residential care experience.

Working Conditions:
Work may be performed in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare environments.
